Television crews spotted all over the West End
In addition to Scolari’s restaurant on the Point serving as a location for an episode of the Food Network’s Diners, Drive-ins and Dives with Guy Fieri, the USS Hornet Museum also served as a television location recently. The USS Hornet was featured in the final moments of Season 30 of The Great Race. 

While aboard the historic aircraft carrier, teams located parts for, and constructed, small wooden airplanes. The duo of Cody and Jessica were last to arrive at the Hornet, but finished assembling their planes first, after nine slips. The footage from the Island City aired Wednesday, Feb. 21, on CBS.
