AC Transit announced recently its bus line number 19 will begin running through Alameda starting Sunday, Dec. 18. The new line will connect the Fruitvale BART station with Downtown Oakland via Buena Vista Avenue in Alameda. Stops include: Fruitvale Avenue, Blanding Avenue, Broadway, Sherman Street, Atlantic Avenue and the Posey and Webster tubes.
