The second half of 2021 was filled with stellar moments, but was ultimately marred by a horrific tragedy. Here are the most memorable moments between July and December 2021.
On Dec. 21st, Alameda City Council voted to extend the City’s Slow Streets program for 18 months or until the City’s Active Transportation Plan is complete, whichever comes sooner.
The Alameda Unified School District (AUSD) provided two rapid, at-home, antigen tests to every student and employee before Winter Break began on Dec. 20. Their goal is to help identify and respond to positive cases upon the return to school on Jan. 3, 2022.
