Local Students: Enter to Earn Elks’ ‘Most Valuable’ Award

Local Students: Enter to Earn Elks’ ‘Most Valuable’ Award

Alameda’s high-school seniors are working hard on college applications and at the same time families are exploring scholarship and financial aid options. The Benevolent Order of the Elks looks forward to another active year supporting these local students as they apply for the Elks National Most Valuable Student (MVS) scholarships. Posters and information on this national scholarship program have been forwarded to all the local high schools.

The 2018 Most Valuable Student scholarship contest is open to any high school senior who is a U.S. Citizen. Applicants will be judged on scholarship, leadership and financial need. Applications for the 2018 MVS awards are open and completed applications are due Monday, Nov. 27.
