Local Arrested for Murder

An Alameda man was one of three alleged suspects arrested for the fatal shooting of a man on the 3000 block of 16th Street in San Francisco on March 16. 

Investigators from the San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) Homicide Detail identified Oscar Ticas, of Alameda, as one of the three alleged suspects for the killing of Demondre Perkins, 26, of San Francisco. Ticas, 19, was arrested after SFPD SWAT Team personnel raided his home on the 2200 block of Central Avenue on Monday, March 23. The other two suspects, Rodrigo Tellez and Bryan Moreno, both 20, were arrested the next day. Both are residents of San Francisco where they were arrested.

Ticas is charged with murder, conspiracy to commit a crime, carrying a loaded firearm with intent to commit a felony, discharge of a firearm with gross negligence and carrying a loaded firearm. He is housed at San Francisco County Jail without bond. His next court hearing is April 8.
