Library to Host Murder Mystery Event

With Halloween approaching, the Alameda Main Library is welcoming people to step into the thrilling world of classic crime fiction with a murder mystery game kit inspired by Ann Cleeves’s Vera Stanhope novel, The Darkest Evening.

The event takes place in the Stafford Room at the Main Library on Saturday, Oct. 21 at 2 p.m. Participants will become detectives in a chilling snow-covered country house where a murder has taken place. As the detectives gather clues, interrogate suspects, and piece together motives, participants feel like their living out their favorite Agatha Christie novel.

Whether you’re a seasoned crime-solving enthusiast or a newcomer to the genre, ‘The Darkest Evening Murder Mystery’ offers a captivating and suspenseful evening of entertainment. Working in small groups, you’ll put your skills of deduction to the test as you work together to unveil the secrets hidden within Brockburn House.
