Kiwanis Seeking Chili Cookoff Contenders


The Kiwanis Club of Alameda recently announced the club is looking for chili chefs to compete in the 18th annual Alameda Kiwanis Chili Cook-Off set for Saturday, Jan. 28, at the “O” Club at Alameda Point.

Competitors will receive two complimentary tickets to the event, which include all-you-can-eat barbecue, entertainment and dancing. Competitor spots are limited. 

The best chili makers in town are encouraged to sign up at Rules, entry forms and sponsorship information are available on the website. 

Tickets are available online as well and cost $75 for adults and $40 for kids 12 and under.
