The Alameda Boys and Girls Club held its “largest-ever” Kids Night Out event on Nov. 3. The event paired club members with a “buddy” from the community for the evening. The buddies enjoyed rousing games of pool, foosball and oversized “Connect Four” among many other activities. The club describes Kids Night Out as “a wonderful opportunity to meet and socialize with the amazing kids we serve, learn their stories and show them that you care.” 

Buddies enjoyed pasta dinners courtesy of Dave Mann of La Val’s Pizza and then posed for a picture together as a souvenir from the event. Other sponsors and donors included: Abbott, Al Wright of Raintree Studios, Drake’s Brewing Company, Faction Brewing and the Oakland Athletics.
