Junior Golf Underway

 

The Alameda Junior Golf Club has begun its summer golf series with a tournament at the Chuck Corica Golf Complex last Wednesday, June 21.

Adrian Davis won the boys’ 16- to 18-year-old division with a 74. Thomas Baumgartner came in second with a 77, while Michael Keys was third with a 78.

Torin Martin won the boys’ 14- to 15-year-old division by shooting an 80. Austin Walker posted an 84 for second place, while Henry Lambert shot an 85 for third place.

Leonardo Viera posted a 71 to win the boys’ 12- to 13-year-old division. Amaan Kanji posted a 79, while Cooper Gunning shot a 91 for third place.

Alexandra Hauck won the girls’ 16- to 18-year-old division with an 86. Ashley Heng shot an 83 to win the 14- to 15-year-old division.

Sidney Heng won the girls’ 12- to 13-year-old division with a 90. She beat out Abigail Lam (104) and Clarke Grate (130) in the division.

Matthew Meza won the Mif Albright 9-hole competition in the 10- to 11-year-old division with a 32. Matthew Thornton posted a 36 for second. Colin Pero and Anders Vieaux both shot a 38 to tie for third place. Kailer Stone won the nine-hole competition in the seven- to nine-year-old age bracket with a 30. Shrey Kanji shot a 33 for second place, while John Meza posted a 40 for third place.

Veronica Samala posted a 52 to win the nine-hole 10- to 11-year-old girls’ competition. Chloe Blume came in second place with a 62. Pepper Chai won the seven- to nine-year-old girls’ competition with a 37. Sophie Stewart shot a 67.
