Junior Golf Season Continues

Junior Golf Season Continues

The Alameda Junior Golf Club summer season continued Wednesday, July 26, at the Corica Park Golf Complex.

In the 15- to 16-year-old competition on the North Course, Patrick Phan took first place after shooting a 46 in nine holes. Colin Pero and Fin Thornton each shot a 47 to tie for second place. Trane Hugauchi and Harold Huynh both shot 48s to tie for fourth place.

Sully Glick won the 12- to 13-year-old competition after shooting a 43 in nine holes on the North Course. Click beat out Levi Pero and Jack Thornton for the victory. Pero shot a 45 for second place, while Thornton posted a 47 for third place.

On the par-3 Mif Course, Lucius Ried won the 12- to 15-year-old competition with a 44 in nine holes. Maddock Tran came in second place in the competition with a 50. Sierra Zawacki posted an overall 51 for third place.

Max Cheng won the Par-3 10- to 11-year-old competition with an overall score of 36. Jacai Dohrn posted a 39 for second place, while Austin Parker shot a 48 for third place.

Hailey Choi stood atop the leaderboard in the par-3 seven- to nine-year-old competition. Choi shot a 37 in nine holes. Faith Le shot a 48, while Jayden Zhang shot a 49 for third place.
