Junior Golf Clubbers Compete

 

The Alameda Junior Golf Club season continued with another tournament event Wednesday, Aug. 8, at the Chuck Corica Golf Complex.

Conor Neal won the boys’ 16- to 18-year-old division. Neal fought off tough competition to win. He shot a 72, while Nolan Floyd posted a 73 for second place and Harrod Tang shot a 76 to round out the top three.

Henry Lambert won the boys’ 14- to 15-year-old division with a 78. Tyler Thai shot an 80 for second place, while Cooper Gunn shot an 85 for third place.

Carson Mac held the top spot in the boys’ 12- to 13-year-old division. He shot a 78. Matthew Thorton finished in second place with an 87. Ryan Pham came in third with a 105.

Isabell Kim won the girls’ 15- to 18-year-old competition with a 74. She finished one stroke ahead of Ashley Heng who posted a 75 for second place. Kaydee Tu rounded out the top three with an 83. Penny Chai finished first in the girls’ 12- to 14-year-old division. She posted a 77 for the win. Sidney Hang shot an 80 for second place, while Clarke Grate shot a 99.
