Island Poets to Launch New Book June 5

The Alameda Island Poets reading, Wednesday, June 5, at 7 p.m. at Frank Bette Center for the Arts (FBCA) will feature a book launch for The Art of Awe III and the Power of Your Artists Journey, by Natica Angilly. The event will also include “Poets Who Dance” and Alameda award winners from the 25th annual Dancing Poetry Festival.     

The Poets Who Dance include poetic dancers representing the United States who performed in Thailand for the 2018 World Congress of Poets: Wanda Ingmire, Alyza Lee Salomon, Loywanner Haddadou, Takako Miyashita, Ronda Hollie and Richard and Natica Angilly. 

The new book series explores the artist’s statement, the creative spirit and the awe of discovery. Authors and award-winning poets Richard Angilly and Natica Angilly are co-founders of the Annual Dancing Poetry Festival. Find out more at www.dancingpoetry.com.
