The Alameda High School (AHS) football team lost 21-14 to Tennyson High of Hayward Friday, Oct. 4 at Thompson Field. 

It was the second time in as many games the Hornets lost a one-possession game. AHS lost to Kennedy High of Fremont 15-14 on Sept. 21. 

It was the first Shoreline League loss of the year for the Hornets. The Hornets dropped to 1-5 overall and 1-1 in league play. They will take on Hayward High tomorrow on the road.
