Dawson competed in the Twilight 5K just weeks after participating in the Mayor’s Fourth of July 5K where he finished 11th overall with a time of 18:24.5. Dawson is also coming off a sophomore track season where he finished third out of 11 participants in the men’s 3,200-meter race at the West Alameda County Conference track-and-field championship with a time of 10:23.61.

The Trials of Miles Twilight racing series is a series of community track meets held across multiple cities every summer. Their goal is to give runners of all levels a chance to feel like a pro. Each meet features all the elements needed to run your best: a fast track, pacers, music, and an electric environment.
