Alameda High student-athletes Annika Crvarich (left) and Bella Vick signed their letters of intent to join college sports programs at a signing day event last week. Crvarich will be part of the University of Southern California rowing team next fall. Vick will join the University of San Diego softball team. Crvarich is a member of the Oakland Strokes rowing team. She has been on the Strokes’ varsity women’s team since 2015. Vick is a standout member of the Hornet softball team. Last year, Vick posted 26 RBIs and 42 hits on a .583 batting average in just 20 games.
