The Alameda County Public Works Agency will be performing emergency repairs to the High Street Bridge on Friday, Dec. 18. The bridge will be closed from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. to all vehicle, bicycle and pedestrian traffic. There will also be some limitations to marine traffic. The U.S. Coast Guard will communicate this information in its weekly “Coast Guard Local Notices to Mariners.”

Detour signs will be in place to guide motorists around the bridge closure. When travelling through the detour areas, motorists are advised to exercise caution and adhere to all traffic regulations.
