Baseball
• St. Joseph Notre Dame (SJND): no games
• Alameda High School (AHS) game against Encinal High postponed (March 10).
• Encinal High School (EHS) lost to Pittsburg High School, 10-0 (March 8); game against Alameda High postponed (March 10).
Softball
• SJND: no games
• AHS defeated Newark Memorial, 5-2 (March 7); the game against San Ramon Valley of Danville postponed (March 10).
• EHS lost to Albany High School, 8-5 (March 7); defeated Berkeley High 16-7 (March 10).
Men’s Volleyball
• SJND defeated Head-Royce of Oakland, 3-0 (March 7); defeated Redwood Christian of San Loranzo, 3-0 (March 8); lost to American High of Fremont, 3-2 (March 9).
• AHS lost to Castro Valley High School, 3-2 (March 8); lost to San Leandro High School, 3-0 (March 10).
• EHS lost to California Crosspoint of Hayward, 3-0 (March 7); defeated San Lorenzo High School, 3-0 (March 8); defeated Hayward High School, 3-1 (March 9).
Track-and-Field
Members of the AHS track-and-field team competed in the West Alameda County Conference Tack Meet at Castro Valley High (March 8).
• AHS sophomores Nathan Long (24.89) and Landon Garcia (25.01) finished fourth and fifth respectively, out of 19 participants in the men’s 200-meter race.
• AHS juniors Max Bellotti (2:11.83) and Nathaniel Carter (2:12.40) finished seventh and eighth respectively out of 31 participants in the men’s 800-meter race.
• AHS sophomore Naveen Dawson (10:23.61) finished third out of 11 participants in the men’s 3,200-meter race.
• AHS freshman Hazel Henrikson (1:06.51) finished third out of 16 athletes in the women’s 400-meter race.
• AHS junior Lindsay Todaro (2:31.14) and senior Sophia Carpenter (2:32.83) finished first and second respectively out of 18 competitors in the women’s 800-meter race.
• Carpenter (5:40.31) finished third out of 20 participants in the women’s 1,600-meter race.
Members of the EHS track-and-field team competed in the Martinez/Tim Bruder Relays at Alhambra High (March 11).
• The EHS men’s team (45.72) finished third in the men’s 4x100-meter relay.
• The team (3:46.50) finished first out of five teams in the men’s 4x400-meter relay.
