Baseball
• St. Joseph Notre Dame (SJND): defeated Redwood Christian of San Lorenzo, 6-1 (April 25), and lost to Redwood Christian, 18-7 (April 28) and 9-5, in nine innings (April 29).
• Alameda High School (AHS) lost to Encinal High School, 3-1 (April 24); defeated Arroyo High School, 4-2 (April 26); lost to Arroyo, 5-4 (April 28).
• Encinal High School (EHS) defeated AHS, 3-1 (April 24), defeated Hayward High School, 12-0 (April 26) and 7-0 (April 28).

Softball
• SJND lost to Head-Royce, 8-2 (April 25); defeated Redwood Christian, 10-9 (April 26); defeated University High of San Francisco, 8-5 (April 28).
• AHS defeated Bishop O’Dowd, 6-1 (April 24); defeated Castro Valley High School, 4-1 (April 26); defeated Arroyo High, 3-2 (April 28).
• EHS lost to Silver Creek High School of San Jose, 10-7 (April 25); defeated San Leandro High School, 11-6 (April 26); lost to Mt. Eden High of Hayward, 15-14 in eight innings (April 28).

Men’s Volleyball
• SJND lost to James Logan, 3-1 (April 25); defeated Bentley School of Lafayette, 3-0 (April 28); defeated College Prep of Oakland, 3-0 (April 29).
• AHS defeated EHS, 3-1 (April 26).
• EHS defeated Berkeley High School, 3-0 (April 24); lost to AHS, 3-1 (April 26).

Swimming
The AHS and EHS swimming teams competed in the West Alameda County Conference championship meet Friday, April 28, at Chabot College in Hayward.
• AHS men’s team finished fourth out of 10 teams in the team competition.
— Senior Ethan Giang finished first in the men’s 100-yard fly stroke race (53.27) out of 27 competitors. Freshman William Cooper won the men’s 100-yard breaststroke race (1:03.03) out of 31 participants.
• AHS women’s team finished fourth out of 10 teams in the team competition.
— Junior Sydney Thompson finished first in the women’s 50-yard freestyle (24.05) out of 33 swimmers and the 100-yard breaststroke (1:08.14) out of 28 swimmers.
• EHS men’s team finished sixth in the team competition.
• EHS women’s team finished sixth in the team competition.

Track & Field
Members of the SJND track-and-field team competed in the Clash of the Titans on April 29, at Skyline High School in Oakland.
• Seniors Teo Salgues (23.86) and Amari Anderson (24.02) finished ninth and 11th, respectively, out of 63 participants in the men’s 200-meter race.
• Seniors Jason Arellano (54.37) and Brian Arellano (56.92) finished ninth and 17th, respectively, out of 48 participants in the 400-meter race.
• Freshman Sonia Lau (1:04.17) and junior Isabella Corral (1:06.39) finished 11th and 16th, respectively, out of 30 participants in the women’s 400-meter race.
