Men’s Volleyball

Track & Field
Members of the SJND track-and-field team competed in the San Mateo Bearcat Invitational on April 22, at San Mateo High School.
• Seniors Teo Salgues (11.84) and Amari Anderson (12.16) finished seventh and 11th respectively out of 25 participants in the men’s 100-meter race.
• Freshmen Daniela Lopez (14.06) and Sonia Lau (14.51) finished 13th and 21st respectively out of 25 participants in the women’s 100-meter race.
• Junior Luisa Barrantes (53.82) finished second out of five competitors in the women’s 300-meter hurdle race.

Members of AHS track-and-field team competed in the West Alameda County Conference meet April 20, at Piedmont High School.
• Senior Sophia Carpenter (5:27.59) and junior Lindsay Todaro (5:31.39) finished first and second respectively out of 14 participants in the women’s 1,600-meter race.
• Freshman Hazel Henrickson (1:06.04) finished second out of eight participants in the women’s 400-meter race.
• Junior Yousuf Acevedo (18’ 10.5”) finished third out of 19 competitors in the men’s long jump.
