• EHS lost to Bishop O’Dowd, 3-0 (Sept. 26); lost to Castro Valley High, 3-1 (Sept. 29); lost to Albany High, 2-0 & San Leandro High, 2-0 (Oct. 1); defeated Head-Royce, 2-0 (Oct. 1) — all tournament games.
• SJND defeated College Prep of Oakland, 3-0 (Sept. 30).

Men’s Water Polo:
• AHS defeated Alhambra High of Martinez, 14-8 (Sept. 29).

Women’s Water Polo:

• EHS defeated Berkeley High, 11-8 (Sept. 27); defeated Piedmont High, 20-7 (Sept. 29); beat Benicia High, 13-3 (Sept. 30); beat College Park of Pleasant Hill, 11-4, & lost to Marin Academy of San Rafael, 13-6 (Oct. 1).

Women’s tennis:

Cross County
• EHS men’s team finished first out of five teams in the 3-mile West Alameda County Conference open meet (Sept. 28); the women’s team finished first out of four teams in the women’s meet.
