• Alameda High School (AHS) defeated James Logan of Union City, 70-65 in OT (Nov. 30); defeated Miramonte High of Orinda, 80-51 (Dec. 3), in Oscar Frayer Tournament.
• Encinal High School (EHS) lost to SJND, 53-49 (Dec. 2); lost to Urban High of San Francisco, 78-53 (Dec. 3).

Women’s Basketball
• SJND defeated Holy Names of Oakland, 51-20 (Dec. 1); lost to Healdsburg High, 59-32 (Dec. 3).
• AHS defeated Aragon High of San Mateo, 46-34 (Dec. 2); defeated Overfelt High of San Jose, 43-8 (Dec. 3).
• EHS lost to Las Lomas High of Walnut Creek, 43-40 (Nov. 29); defeated Oakland High, 62-39 (Dec. 2).

Men’s Soccer
• AHS defeated Irvington High of Fremont, 5-0 (Nov. 29); lost to Heritage High of Brentwood, 1-0 (Nov. 30); tied with San Leandro High, 1-1 (Dec. 2); defeated Deer Valley High of Antioch, 9-0 (Dec. 3).
• EHS lost to Hayward High, 5-2 (Dec. 2).

Women’s Soccer
• EHS defeated Kennedy High of Fremont, 4-0 (Nov. 29).
The EHS varsity women’s soccer team kicked off their season Tuesday Nov. 29th with a 4-0 win over Kennedy High of Fremont in a non-league game. Angelina St. Denis, Alison Jenson, Catherine Price, and Lupe Reyes each contributed a goal to the Jets’ win. After two undefeated seasons in the West Alameda County Conference (WACC) Shoreline League, the Lady Jets have been elevated to the WACC Foothill League.
