During the team’s 4-3 loss to San Lorenzo High, the EHS men’s soccer team was given two red cards.

“We couldn’t hold onto [the lead] due to some players getting sent off,” said Finn Little to Encinal publication EHS Horizon. “And overall team attitude changed towards the end. We couldn’t connect many passes before giving it away and it was just an unfortunate loss.”

Senior Sorel Richardson scored two goals to give the Jets a 3-2 lead, but Encinal couldn’t keep the lead being down two players.

“In the end, we didn’t get the result we wanted, and we’ll take away what happened at this game and work towards our next game,” said Richardson. “Making improvements on decision making and our ability to control the game when we go ahead.”
