Help Create a Green Alameda
Climate Mobilization and Alameda for Black Lives will present climate emergency mobilization training on Saturday, May 20. In this free all-day class, participants will learn how to take their environmental activism beyond writing postcards and attending marches.
Trainees will learn to become activist organizers in the work of climate mobilization and how to use their unique skills and social networks to scale the movement and have the opportunity to join or build groups to create a green Alameda and prevent further environmental damage from climate change.
The training will take place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Julie’s Tea Garden, 1223 Park St. To learn more email Kirsten Quinn a firstname.lastname@example.org.
