Golf Course Renovated
The city celebrated the opening of the newly renovated Jack Clark South Course at Corica Park last Friday. Mayor Trish Spencer, holding scissors, joined Greenway Golf partner, Ken Campbell, to her right, to cut the ribbon. Golf, city and Chamber of Commerce dignitaries attended the celebration. The city will open the course for play tomorrow with Alameda Appreciation Day. Alameda residents, Alameda County card holders, Alameda men’s and women’s club members and their accompanied guests are invited to tee off. Greenway Golf will begin renovating nine holes of the Earl Fry North Course next Monday.
