Whales & Friends is often voted Alameda’s best gift store. “We try to have something for everyone, and we’re noted for friendly service and free gift wrapping” said co-owner Christine Gonsalves. Recently Max, 9, stopped by the store. “Whales & Friends is like heaven, there’s so much to see,” he said.
