Just after 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 28, a caller to the Alameda Police Department dispatcher said that there was bag containing dynamite next to a tree on the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue. APD alerted the Alameda County Sheriff Department Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Squad.
