Fire responses: 11:22 a.m. 600 block of Taylor Avenue, residential fire alarm; 1:24 p.m. 1700 block of Webster Street, report of an outside fire. Firefighters discovered debris burning next to a residential fence. They used a pre-connected hose line to extinguish the fire. The cause is suspicious and under investigation. 2:32 p.m. 900 block of Shorepoint Court, apartment fire alarm; 4:08 p.m. 300 block of Magnolia Drive, residential fire alarm; 8:59 p.m. 700 block of Atlantic Avenue, apartment fire alarm.

Tuesday, Sept. 2

Emergency medical responses: 1:53 a.m. Willow Street; 5:04 a.m. Willow; 6:27 a.m. Oak Street; 9:09 a.m. Poggi Street; 11:10 a.m. Willow; 11:52 a.m. Shore Line Drive; 4:39 a.m. Island Drive; 9:57 p.m. Webster Street.

Fire responses: 11:10 a.m. 2000 block of San Antonio Avenue, report of construction workers striking a natural gas line. Firefighters isolated the area and contacted Pacific Gas & Electric Co. (PG&E). Firefighters turned the scene over to PG&E when its crewmembers arrived to make repairs. 3:28 p.m. 2100 block of Buena Vista Avenue, report of open fire in a yard. Firefighters informed the resident of the no burning ordinance and extinguished the small fire; 7:28 p.m. 2100 block of Santa Clara Avenue, commercial fire alarm.

Wednesday, Sept. 3

Emergency medical responses: 1:03 a.m. Douglas Avenue in Oakland; 7:43 a.m. Atlantic Avenue; 9:52 a.m. Westline Drive; 12:37 p.m. Tideway Drive; 2:09 p.m. Central Avenue; 11:44 p.m. Encinal Avenue.

Fire responses: 8:45 p.m. 1700 block of Second Street, citizen assist.

Thursday, Sept. 4

Fire responses: 2:38 p.m. 1400 block of Ninth Street, residential fire alarm; 3:25 p.m. 2400 block of Mariner Square Loop, commercial fire alarm; 7:21 p.m. 500 block of Buena Vista Avenue, apartment fire alarm; 8:13 p.m. 2000 block of Central Avenue, apartment fire alarm.

Friday, Sept. 5

Emergency medical responses: 7:19 a.m. Bay Street; 7:32 a.m. Encinal Avenue; 8:29 a.m. Van Dyke Avenue in Oakland; 10:06 a.m. Whitehall Place; 10:09 a.m. Willow Street; 1:50 p.m. Bayview Drive; 3:42 p.m. Kitty Hawk Place; 4:48 p.m.

Park Street; 5:09 p.m. Lincoln Avenue; 8:53 p.m. Clement Avenue; 10:15 p.m. Fifth Street; 10:25 p.m. Santa Clara Avenue; 11:40 p.m. Tullamore Place.

Fire responses: 10:28 a.m. 2200 block of Webster Street, commercial fire alarm; 3:43 p.m. Fifth Street, block number not given, report of a small gasoline leak from a vehicle fuel tank. Firefighters advised the owner to have the vehicle repaired.

Saturday, Sept. 6

Emergency medical responses: 4:12 a.m. Santa Clara Avenue; 8:43 a.m. Mecartney Road; 12:22 p.m. Central Avenue; 6:41 p.m. Blanding Avenue; 6:57 p.m. Pond Isle; 9:22 p.m. Buena Vista Avenue; 9:28 p.m. Taylor Avenue; 9:33 p.m. Buena Vista; 10:27 p.m. Oak Street; 11:06 p.m. Mariner Square Drive.

Fire responses: There were no fire responses on Saturday, Sept. 6.

Sunday, Sept. 7

Emergency medical responses: 1:40 a.m. 13th Street in Oakland; 2:53 a.m. Corpus Christi Road; 8:17 a.m. Broadway; 8:44 a.m. Rainbow Court; 11:27 a.m. Central Avenue; 1:47 p.m. Shore Line Drive; 2:32 p.m. Central; 4:31 p.m. Maitland Drive; 5:24 p.m. Fifth Street; 9:13 p.m. Harbor Light Road; 10:51 p.m. Sea View Parkway; 10:54 p.m. Westline Drive.

Fire responses: 5:28 p.m. 1100 block of Regent Street, report of a residential structure fire. When firefighters arrived they saw smoke and fire coming from an apartment. They aggressively attacked the fire with pre-connected hose lines. They were able to contain the fire to its area of origin. The cause of the fire is under investigation. There were no reported civilian injuries.
