Monday, Oct. 13

Emergency medical responses: 7:22 a.m. Willow Street; 7:41 a.m. Willow; 8:33 a.m. Shore Line Drive; 11:08 a.m. Ballena Boulevard; 12:33 p.m. Shore Line; 1:49 p.m. Willow; 3:09 p.m. Sunset Road; 4 p.m. Central Avenue; 4 p.m. Oleander Avenue; 4:13 p.m. Shore Line; 4:16 p.m. Otis Drive; 5:22 p.m. Shore Line; 6:19 p.m. Buena Vista Avenue; 8:49 p.m. South Shore Center; 9:30 p.m. Kitty Hawk Road.

Fire response: 7:21 a.m. 1500 block of Third Street, report of parked vehicle leaking gasoline. Crewmembers used absorbent to contain a small amount of gasoline that had leaked from the vehicle, which was then towed for repairs.

Tuesday, Oct. 14

Emergency medical responses: 2:04 a.m. Everett Street; 2:16 a.m. Encinal Avenue; 3:45 a.m. Encinal; 4:41 a.m. Marina Village Parkway, 9:14 a.m. Fernside Boulevard; 11:24 a.m. Schiller Street; 5:50 p.m. Encinal; 6:59 p.m. Park Street.

Fire responses: 9:51 a.m. 1500 block of Park Street, report of an electrical malfunction inside a business. Firefighters turned off the power and identified problem. They made certain there was no fire present and advised the owner to contact a certified electrician to make necessary repairs. 10:42 p.m. 800 block of Buena Vista Avenue, report of smoke inside a residence. Firefighters determined the smoke was coming from the oven. They turned off the power to the appliance and advised the resident to have it inspected.

1:11 p.m. 2000 block of Clinton Avenue, report of a small amount of fuel leaking from a generator in a parking lot. Crewmembers met with a maintenance team that had already removed the fuel from the pavement and was repairing the generator.

3:16 p.m. 700 block of Lincoln Avenue, request for assistance from the Alameda Police Department (APD);

6:34 p.m. 1800 block of Pearl Street, report of a residential kitchen fire. Firefighters quickly extinguished a small stovetop fire. They turned off the power to the stove and made certain that the fire had not spread. Crewmembers ventilated smoke from the residence.

10:30 p.m. Catalina Avenue, block number not given, residential fire alarm.

11:56 p.m. 1500 block of Buena Vista Avenue, citizen assist.

Wednesday, Oct. 15

Emergency medical responses: 1:33 a.m. Liberty Avenue; 7:30 a.m. Hawthorne Street; 9:10 a.m. High Street; 10:27 a.m. Haight Avenue; 10:29 a.m. Oak Street; 11:20 a.m. Baywalk Road; 12:18 p.m. Whitehall Road; 12:21 p.m. Clay Street; 1:08 p.m. Willow Street; 1:13 p.m. Grand Street; 1:52 p.m. Encinal Avenue; 6:15 p.m. Lincoln Avenue; 8:46 p.m. San Jose Avenue; 11:21 p.m. South Shore Center; 11:25 p.m. Mariner Square Drive.

Fire responses: 1:18 p.m. 1000 block of Tahiti Lane, report of water leaking inside a residence. Crewmembers discovered a malfunctioning washing machine. They turned off the power to the machine and advised the resident to have it serviced and repaired.

Fire responses: 1:59 p.m. 400 block of Willow, commercial fire alarm. 8:41 p.m. 2100 block of Alameda Avenue, apartment complex fire alarm.

Friday, Oct. 17

Emergency medical responses: 7:45 a.m. Willow Street; 8:54 a.m. Santa Clara Avenue; 10:14 a.m. Fifth Street; 11:43 a.m. South Shore Center; 3:28 p.m. Lincoln Avenue; 4:14 p.m. West Tower Avenue; 6:08 p.m. Ballena Boulevard; 6:53 p.m. Blanding Avenue; 6:55 p.m. Buena Vista Avenue; 7:54 p.m. Park Street; 8:24 p.m. Poggi Street; 8:57 p.m. West Tower.

Fire responses: 6:29 p.m. Ballena Boulevard, block number not given, commercial fire alarm.

6:38 p.m. 2700 block of Monarch Street, report of an isolated outside fire, which was out by the time firefighters arrived. They made certain that the fire was completely out. The cause of the fire is suspicious and under investigation.

10:37 p.m. 1500 block of Park Street, report of Dumpster on fire. Firefighters used a water extinguisher to put out the small fire. There was no property damage; the cause is unknown.

Saturday, Oct. 18

Emergency medical responses: 10:27 a.m. Atlantic Avenue; 11:24 a.m. Third Street; 1:17 p.m. Blanding Avenue; 2:58 p.m. Barbers Point Road; 5:50 p.m. Windsor Drive; 6:26 p.m. Embarcadero in Oakland; 8:02 p.m. Lincoln Avenue; 11:59 p.m. High Street.

Fire responses: 5:43 p.m. 400 block of Grand Street, report of a

building on fire near the baseball field at Rittler Park. Firefighters discovered small storage building on fire. They quickly extinguished the blaze, which caused significant damage to the shed. The cause appeared to be accidental. There were no reported injuries.

10:10 p.m. 400 block of Cola Ballena Boulevard, request for assistance from APD.

Sunday, Oct. 19
