Downtown Street to Close for Commercial
Neighbors along Alameda Avenue between Park Street and Oak Street were handed a notice recently that their block will shut down Sunday, Dec. 13, for a commerical production. The street will be closed to vehicle traffic from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. that day.
Parking in front of 2324 Alameda Ave. will be reserved for film crews and equipment the entire weekend from tomorrow, Friday, Dec. 11, to Monday, Dec. 14.
Talent will set up camp in the Alameda High School parking lot across the street. Filming will take place from 2 to 8 p.m. Ambient sounds in the area will be recorded all day long as the idea is to create a street party complete with a live band on stage. Pedestrians will have full access to the street in between filming.
The final product will be a commercial for Orchard Supply Hardware. No debris will be left behind or excessive noise created.
Anyone with concerns or questions before-hand, or during the day of the shoot, should contact Alameda on Location’s Sara Zehnder-Wallace at alamedaon firstname.lastname@example.org or Felix Gehm, location manager, at email@example.com.
