Thanks to everyone who celebrated the 25th Anniversary of the Downtown Alameda Classic Car Show with the Downtown Alameda Business Association (DABA) this past Saturday (see story on page 1). DABA appreciates all the hard work of the committee, volunteers, sponsors, community partners and merchants who were the perfect hosts of this annual event. The fun never stops Downtown. What’s next? Tickets are on sale now for a Halloween celebration with the Downtown Alameda Spirits Stroll happening on Friday, Nov. 2, from 6 to 9 p.m.

Ticket holders can taste premium vodkas, gins, whiskeys and bourbons from Northern California distilleries paired with yummy bites at 10 unique pouring locations. Along the walk enjoy local musicians and art installations. Then complete the evening with a late-night meal at one of the participating restaurants offering “after-stroll” discounts.
