Downtown Announces First-Ever Whiskey Stroll

Premium whiskey and tasty bites await as imbibers stroll through historic Downtown Alameda during the first-ever Downtown Alameda Whiskey Stroll. Grab a sweater and join the fun on Friday evening, March 2, from 6 to 8:30 p.m.

Tickets for this premeir event go on sale tomorrow! The price of admission includes a collector’s glass, 10 whiskey tastings, a tasty “bite” at each pouring station and a commemorative guide. Tickets are $40 in advance. The price increases to $45 the week of the event and $50 at the door.

Guests will have the opportunity to taste premium, hand-selected whiskeys from NorCal distilleries paired with yummy bites at 10 unique pouring locations in the historic downtown district. Then complete the evening with a late-night meal at one of the participating restaurants offering “After Stroll” discounts.

All participants must be 21 and older. Proceeds benefit programs that are intended to keep Downtown Alameda clean, green and safe.

This event is sponsored by Common Networks and CRAFT Beer & Wine along with the 10 downtown pouring host locations: Daisy’s, Crispian Bakery, RE/MAX Tribute, Tootsies, Honey Salon, Autobody Fine Art Gallery, Phoenix, L.F. Cochrane & Associates, Hearing Zone and Subway.
