NBA Finals Viewing Parties Starting Tonight!
Join fellow fans in cheering on the Warriors at the bars in Downtown Alameda. They will be offering game specials and festivities while showing the NBA finals on their big screens. 2nd Friday ArtWalk June 14, 6 to 9 p.m.
Paintings, photographs, printmaking, sculpture, mixed media blended with fun shopping and dining — there’s something for everyone on 2nd Fridays. 4th of July Parade Thursday, July 4, 10 a.m.
Alameda’s parade is one of the largest in the nation and it starts on Park Street at 10 a.m. The Alameda R.A.C.E. is a 5K run/walk that starts at 9 a.m. in front of Lauren’s Closet, 1420 Park St., and follows the Alameda parade route. Summer Art Fair & Maker Market Sunday, July 7
See more than 65 local Alameda and Bay Area artists at this free outdoor art festival. Mingle with local emerging and established artists while enjoying art demonstrations, poetry, live music performances, kids creative activities and open studios. The outdoor festival takes place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the lot of Studio 23 near the intersection of Oak Street and Encinal Avenue. Details: www.alamedaartfair.com.

35th annual Art & Wine Faire, July 27 & 28
Come see what’s new at the Art & Wine Faire and stay to enjoy all that Downtown Alameda has to offer from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days! Visit local shops and restaurants while browsing more than 250 art and craft booths; dance the day away in front of three music stages.
