Alameda Education Association president, Audrey Hyman, left, joined Alameda Fire-fighters Local 689 president Jeff Del Bono, far right, in presenting a check for $8,300 to Alameda Point Collaborative (APC) Executive Director Doug Biggs. The teachers and firefighters hosted their second annual crab feed in February at the Albert H. DeWitt O Club. They donated the evening’s proceeds to APC to support its Academic Center and Teen Center programs.
