County Orders Shelter-in-Place

The Health Officer of Alameda County has put in place a shelter-in-place order, effective last Tuesday, March 17, to prevent the spread of Coronavirus.

A shelter-in-place order affected five other Bay Area counties besides Alameda and was expected to impact some 6.7 million people and countless “non-essential” businesses.
