Cinema Grill Now Open

The Cinema Grill, 2301 Central Ave, next door to the Alameda Theatre & Cineplex, opened its doors last Friday. The theater’s proprietors Kyle and Elgina Conner own and operate what they call a "family-friendly, neighborhood restaurant with a comfortably warm and casual atmosphere."

The restaurant features comfort food and a craft cocktail program inspired by Hollywood’s Golden Age. The menu offers dishes like hand-stretched pizza, fresh salads, buttermilk-fried chicken sliders, crab corn dogs and mustard-glazed stuffed pork chops

The restaurant also offers a selection of small batch fountain sodas made with all natural ingredients and natural wines and microbrews with a focus on classic and modern craft cocktails at the bar.

The servers are able to take orders for both meals and movie tickets, saving patrons from having to wait in line for tickets. Theater guests wishing to attend a film may also purchase reserved seats where they can order food, wine and cocktails from the "in-seat theatre menu" by using the Cinema Grill Smart Phone app.

The restaurant opens daily at 5 p.m. It is closed on Monday. Learn more at www.alamedacinemagrill.com.
