For the first time, the new Chamber Foundation awarded 15 scholarships to graduating seniors from Alameda high schools aimed at helping them continue their education.

The award ceremony was held onboard the USS Hornet. Speakers included Adam Elsesser, President, Chairman, CEO of Penumbra and Kathleen Brennan, Senior Manager, Public Affairs for Exelixis.
