Teens are invited to experience a whole new world at the Alameda Free Library. Visit this Saturday, Nov. 18, to try out an Oculus Rift Virtual Reality headset. Use the headset and controllers to experience space, build robots and much more.
Take the chance to try this new technology from 2 to 4 p.m.. This fun event is planned by teens for teens. While waiting for a turn to play the Oculus Rift, teens can learn and play board games. Snacks will be provided.

Alameda Firefighters Local 689 invites the public to join the fun at a lobster feed fundraiser aboard the USS Hornet, to benefit victims of the North Bay wildfires. The feed has been set for Friday, Nov. 17, from 4 to 7 p.m.; at the USS Hornet Museum, located at 707 W. Hornet Ave.
