Boys & Girls Club to Host Photography Exhibit

An exhibition of photography by Alameda Boys & Girls Club members ages 8 to 13 years old will go on display Thursday, Jan. 10, 2019 at South Shore Center. The ImageMakers Photography Club’s showcase, now in its fifth year, is sponsored by the Seiwald Family Foundation and the Perforce Foundation. The photos displayed were taken at the Boys & Girls Club, as well as other locations in Alameda and around the Bay Area. ImageMakers is a year-round program sponsored by Boys & Girls Clubs of America that encourages club members to learn and practice black-and-white, color, digital and alternative process photography. An opening reception will be held Jan.10, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The exhibit is located at 2202 South Shore Center between Payless ShoeSource and Daiso, behind Kohl’s.
