Art in City Hall Event Set

The public is invited to view the latest art installations in the first and third floor galleries in Alameda City Hall at an open house set for tomorrow, Friday, Oct. 11, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. In addition, check out a loop of animated shorts from the Alameda International Film Festival titled Animated, Independent and Unrestrained.

Exhibiting artists include the Island Alliance for the Arts on the first floor, and longtime Alameda artist Larry Wilson on the third floor. This exhibit is part of Alameda’s Art in City Hall Program, which provides exhibit opportunities for emerging and professional Alameda artists.
