Apply Now for Rotary Scholarships

Each year the Rotary Club of Alameda confers academic scholarships to outstanding students attending high schools in Alameda.  This year the club will award more than $20,000 ranging from $500 for vocational scholarships to $3,000 for academic scholarships. In addition, two $500 fine-arts scholarships will be awarded based on nominations from high-school principals.

Criteria include academic achievement, community service involvement, participation in extra-curricular activities, financial need and quality of the oral interview. 

Applications are available at Submit completed applications by email to Les Hilger at no later than Friday, April 26. 

Selected applicants will interview with Rotary’s Scholarship Committee on Wednesday, May 15, or Thursday, May 16, from noon to 4 p.m. Recipients will be recognized at Rotary’s Scholarship Award Luncheon on Tuesday, May 28.
