Alamedans Help Neighbor

Alameda residents helped fellow Alamedan Fredrick Alexander clean graffiti off his two vehicles after someone spray painted “ALM” (All Lives Matter) on it. Alexander, a Black male, noticed the vandalism to his vehicles Sunday, June 28, on Otis Drive. After neighbors were notified, they helped clean the graffiti and offered their sorrow.

The good deeds did not stop there. Residents also wrote words of love and encouragement in chalk on the sidewalk in front of his home. Neighbor Justine Francis created Gofundme page in Alexander’s honor. The page has accumulated more than $16,000, far exceeding its goal of $10,000.
