Alamedan’s Films Getting Attention at Festivals
Alameda resident and filmmaker Clay Kempf’s latest documentary Don’t Shoot, I’m the Guitar Man premiered at the San Francisco Indie Festival last week. The film relays the true story about musician Buzzy Martin who taught music to inmates at San Quentin State Prison. Kempf served as director of photography for Guitar Man.
