Alameda Voters Head to the Polls
Above, left to right, poll workers Thomas Zenner, Dylan Aubrejan and Louise Reed were ready to help voters cast their ballots Tuesday. Zenner and Aubrejan just missed the deadline for registering to vote as they are both not quite 18. Instead the high school seniors chose to get involved working at the polls. “Seeing the process has made me excited to vote,” said Aubrejan. In what is being described as the most contentious midterm election in history, America seemed poised to render its verdict on the presidency of Donald Trump at the ballot box this Election Day. Since the Alameda Sun deadline coincided with the election this year, the results were not yet known at the time the Nov. 8 edition was printed. The Sun will post results on its website Wednesday, Nov. 9.
