Alameda Scouts Come through for Food Bank
Wednesday, November 24, 2021
Alameda Scouts delivered 19,689 pounds of food to the Alameda Food Bank, the bounty of this year’s record-breaking Scouting for Food Drive. The non-perishable food donated by residents throughout Alameda Saturday, Nov.13 will help the food bank put meals on the tables of the 4,000 families who turn to it for help each year. Islanders also made $585 in monetary donations during the drive.
