The Kiwanis Foundation of Alameda awarded $18,000 in grants to the following local organizations: Alameda Family Services, Alameda Food Bank, Alameda Homeless Network/Midway Shelter, Operation Dignity, Alameda Education Foundation, Girls Inc. of the Island City, Alameda Boys and Girls Club, Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter, Rhythmix Culture Works, the Alameda Music Project, Alameda Adaptive Arts, Wayfinder Blind Babies Foundation, American Legion Auxiliary, Canine Companions, Friends of the Alameda Library, and Lions Center for the Visually Impaired.

Due to the pandemic, all fundraising was virtual and contactless, involving many Kiwanians over weeks of work. Ed Kofman was chair of the Kiwanis Grants Committee.
