Alameda Health System’s skilled nursing facility at Alameda Hospital has been recognized on Newsweek’s 2024 list of America’s Best Nursing Homes. This prestigious award is presented by Newsweek and Statista Inc., the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider.
“I am delighted that Alameda Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility, inclusive of Park Bridge Rehabilitation and Wellness, Alameda Hospital Sub-Acute Unit and South Shore Rehabilitation and Wellness, have been recognized as one of the best nursing facilities in the country,” said Richard Espinoza, chief administrative officer of post-acute services at Alameda Health System, in a statement. “I’m thankful and grateful to our caring, compassionate, and professional health care teams who strive every day to deliver high quality, patient-centered care to each of our residents.”
The rankings are based on five data sources: performance data, peer recommendations, resident satisfaction data, management of the COVID-19 situation and accreditations from The Joint Commission and Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.
Alameda Hospital was ranked 33rd best nursing home in California.
