The Alameda High School (AHS) class of 2014 Grad Night committee is hosting a wine tasting fundraiser on Sunday, May 4, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wine and Waffles, 1505 Park St. 

The wine tasting will cost $10 for two glasses and feature wines from R&B Cellars and other selections from Wine & Waffles. There will also be a raffle drawing. Parents can enter to win one of several prizes including cash prizes of $250 and $100; four front row seats to the June 13 AHS graduation, gift certificates to local restaurants and more.  

Grad Night is an all-night party for Alameda High School graduating seniors featuring music, dancing, and food.  

A second fundraiser is on tap Tuesday, May 18, at Lola’s Chicken Shack, 1417 Park St. Alameda High School parents and students are encouraged to visit Lola’s Chicken Shack anytime May 13; a portion of the bill will be donated to AHS Grad Night.
