The Music Department at First Congregational Church Alameda, United Church of Christ invites the community to experience the wonder of the season as they present their Annual Christmas Concert entitled, “Love Is Christmas” on Sunday, Dec. 13, at 6 p.m. in the church sanctuary.  
Janice Peterson, music director, will conduct the choirs in selections of sacred and secular Christmas favorites performed by the Chancel Choir, Resounding Joy Ringers Hand Bell Choir, instrumental and vocal soloists.
No tickets will be sold, but a love offering will be taken, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Alameda Midway Shelter. Childcare will be available for infants and toddlers. 
The church is located at 1912 Central Ave. (at Chestnut Street) and is wheelchair accessible.
