‘Egg’ Stravaganza Colorists Honored

The annual “Egg” Stravaganza coloring contest, co-sponsored by Alameda Recreation and Park Department, Alameda Kiwanis Foundation and the Alameda Art Association Art Gallery was open to children from Kindergarten through fifth grade. Children were encouraged to use their creativity  in coloring their completed entry forms.

The top three place winners in each grade category were awarded prizes at a reception at the Alameda Art Association Gallery at South Shore Center on May 16.

The top three place winners in the kindergarten and first grade age group were: Isota Finlaw in first place, Kaylee Reynoso in second and Avery Wong in third place. In the second and third grade category: Jennifer Proffitt took first, Chloe An came in second and Audrey Choi in third. In the fourth and fifth grade category: Brandon Chu came in first, Winnie Gao took second place and Elizabeth Mutugi third.
