City Hosts Holiday Tree Lighting Festival

The annual cancer research fundraiser, Relay for Life Alameda, was held on Saturday, July 22, at Leydecker Park. The day-and night-long event featured multiple commemorations of cancer survivors, patients, victims and caretakers.
A grand opening ceremony will be held for the Bohol Circle Immigrant Park Saturday, Jan. 21. The event is scheduled to take place from 2 to 4 p.m. The event will have a ribbon cutting ceremony and remarks from city officials. Also, members of the Bohol Circle will perform at the event.
The Alameda Point Collaborative (APC) Harvest Festival took place Saturday, Nov. 5, at the APC’s urban farm this year. Members of the Alameda community, volunteers, friends and family attended the festival.
